Unending grey, of time, distance and conscience
And I have resigned myself
For every breath and footfall is nothing
Ash of the forsaken world
Carried forth on bleak winds, into the void
And in the end as dust we’re carried on the wind
Scattered to nothing
On hands and knees, beneath cloaks of ash
Destined to crawl
Decaying in the sorrow of a fleeting world
