Dreams & Fears | 2017

There’s a place out in the woods
where we go to hide from the city lights.
We build a house from stolen goods
with hammering hands and hammering hearts.
Fairly close by the fire light
talk about our dreams and fears.
We share words that make us feel alright
to create a moment that lasts for years.
Side by side in the morning light
we look out in the woods all quite.
Until the sun comes of the clouds
and frees our souls from the night and all doubts.
