I saw the great bird rise from the spectral ashes
I followed the trail of its wings, changing the course of my fate
Opening the doors towards my freedom, shattering this confinement that binds me

I left the broken shell of her soul behind me
Her heart knows no peace until I have avenged her

I walked these mourning waters, wading through their cleansing tears
These layers of filth upon my wretched soul, washed away
Crystalline lights beckoning from the fathomless deeps
The great spirits of these waters will sing for me tonight
