My eyes are burned by the heat of the sun
The world is spinning around and around
I let go and close my eyes
Then it reach my ears
The fading sound of guns
There by the temple at the desert’s edge
Endless lines of dying men, now
Allegiance to the land
They swore and pledged
God will grant them paradise again
And the moon and stars
Light up the Nile
Waking the ghosts of Sahara
To fulfil their quest
They cannot rest
Until fire will reign in the whole Africa
A cobra’s kiss so deadly and fast
The world explodes in a shower of suns
The moon is down, I’m all alone
Fading away
Got no future, got no past
And there was music in the earth and sky
Rumbling drums and screaming madness
This magic carpet wasn’t meant to fly
But to devastate the paradise of man
And the moon and stars
Light up the Nile
Waking the ghosts of Sahara
To fulfil their quest
They cannot rest
Until fire will reign in the whole Africa

Мои глаза сгорают от солнечного тепла.
Мир вращается вокруг и вокруг,
Я отпускаю и закрываю глаза,
А затем он доходит до моих ушей.
Затухающий звук пушек
