There’s a tiger
drifting through the forest
like a spirit without
a troubled home
the footprints don’t matter
Silent through the snow
its paw as soft as a pillow
its claw the sharpest of arrows
Beautiful, true
cautious like crossing a winter stream
yielding like ice before melting

дрейфующий по лесу,
как дух без
беспокойного дома,
следы не имеют
Значения, тихо сквозь снег,
его лапа, мягкая, как подушка,
его коготь, острейшие стрелы,
Красивые, настоящие
осторожные, как пересечение зимнего ручья,
дающего, как лед, перед таянием.
